For this project, I was brought on to take over the full management of Google Ads campaigns for two large-scale e-commerce businesses that were struggling to turn ad spend into consistent profit. The existing campaigns lacked structure, clear targeting, and optimization, which meant they were missing out on valuable traffic and conversions. My goal was to completely revamp the strategy and turn their underperforming ads into high-performing profit drivers.
I started by restructuring both accounts from the ground up, implementing a granular audience segmentation strategy that allowed us to tailor messaging and bidding to different customer types. From first-time visitors to returning buyers, each segment had its own customized campaign flow. I also set up smart bidding strategies that aligned with real business goals, like maximizing ROAS and increasing conversion volume during peak sales periods.
Creative strategy played a major role too. I worked closely with the design team to craft high-converting ad creatives that spoke directly to user intent at every stage of the funnel. From engaging discovery ads to dynamic remarketing assets, we consistently tested ad copy, visuals, and calls-to-action. To support these ads, I also ran A/B tests on landing pages, seasonal offers, and audience behaviors, using insights to constantly refine our approach.
Within just a few months, both businesses saw a dramatic shift, not only in increased conversions and revenue, but also in campaign efficiency. With better data tracking, clearer insights, and a performance-driven mindset, we turned these Google Ads accounts into sustainable engines for growth that continued to deliver beyond initial expectations.
